Hello, Kuwahara-san!
I`m very sorry that answer so late
On the other hand, I may add up, for example, after we post a new message into this thread, it automatically returns to the home page, where it looks like a bit hard to find where we're originally from.
I corrected some things in your profile (maybe you already noticed that), and now after a reply to any topic you will be transferred to the latter message
By the way, you seem to be located in Moscow yourself and you know they have a Japanese sushi chef at the restaurants?
Yes, I live in Moscow, but I can’t say anything about the nationality of chefs in our restaurants. Perhaps, in the best restaurants there is a cook-Japanese, but in most cafes local chefs are not a Japanese, actually they don’t have any points of intersection with Japan. In some cases, of course, this affects the quality of food
True, I mostly make sushi at home
Of course, my results in this field are very unassuming and very far from that dishes, which served in sushi bars in Japan, but why not treat yourself for the sake of diversity?
There are other sorts as well, including egg, what is called "norimaki" and "inarizushi" you may have heard.
By the way, my husband loves norimaki so much, so I usually make it: with salmon and cucumber (not too strange mix?
), or with shrimp and avocado. Also, I add wasabi too
I also like "natto" very much!
I quite heard about natto and his special appearance and taste, but haven’t been able to try. I don’t know, good that (I mean “try”) or bad
To me, it's also interesting to know there may live Japanese people working in the Russian society. How hard I imagine it could be, starting from the language...
Well, a certain number of Japanese people living in our country, at least, it is the staff of embassies and employees of the various Japanese companies
They know language in a varying degree, but all of they faced with the realities of our society. I think for them it is the same culture shock, both for the Russian people - to be in Japan on the same terms
I'm so surprised to hear you have heard of all those titles of Japanese "anime" works, most of the above are from decade ago when I was an elementary/junor high school student.
Yes, this anime really old
But I think it is better than more of anime that now goes to the screen… But this is not so interesting to discuss
To the point: yesterday I found a very interesting article about the future of anime. It is quite long and in English, but very interesting. Maybe, Kuwahara-san, you will be interested too
Read it
here.
By the way, I totally forgot to mention cartoons by Hayao Miyazaki, which I like probably without exception! Totoro generally above the competition!
